Circle Sanctuary - with Selene Fox.

Selene was one of the first pagans I ever met, way back in the 1980's. [Very happy]

Circle Sanctuary is probably one of the oldest pagan communities in the world.
Here Selene is talking about the early days and how the community has evolved.

I was with Selene recently at PANTHEACON 2017, San Jose, USA

I joined her in the Sun healing ritual she led.

I'd love to get her over to Europe to give talks/ give a workshop.

Maybe a couple of PFI's (and PF?) could join together to arrange a tour with her?

We have done this in the past with Isaac Bonewits - we arranged a 2-week tour with events in Holland, Germany & England.
This helped to spread the costs of getting him over from America.

I think it would be wonderful to make and event, like a an academic one, and make Selene a keynote speaker along side other pagans that are making Paganism what Paganism is in this XXI century.

Maybe the event, or series of international and inter-academic events, build around the "Paganism today".

I will challenge my university and see other possibilities.

It could be a mix of different types of events.

Don't forget we will have to organise the events and charge an entrance fee to cover the expenses.

When Isaac came we organised a workshop weekend retreat in Germany, a 2-day seminar in Amsterdam
and a book presentation at the Atlantis Bookshop, London.

I'd definitely try to get Selene to give a workshop at the PFI NL Conference [Very happy]

Would be great to organise something in Portugal as well.

May be we can pre appoint 2019, see your dates and we have to move ssomething here days before or after yours date...
A plan of costs on journey to be divided?
And each PFI country cares of local accomodatiopn, event and so on.
AN idea to plan, see basic expenses, and see what comes...

In November 2018 I have no doubt that I will be seeing Selene at the Parliament / PWR in Toronto, Canada.
So 2019 may be better for her 'European Tour' [Very happy]

Hi,
i was checking flights, expenses for 2 or 3 days and sorry to announce we can´t do it.
I am afraid expenses are too high, dear ladies...
Or we have a sponsor or it is almost impossible for our accountancy.
And our pagans, here, don't pay easily a ticket for a conferencie even with a well named special guest [Sad]

Dreams dont pay taxes, so keep hope...

Dear Isobel,

No one is expecting ONE PFI country to pay expenses.
This is why I suggested a European tour for Selena so that several countries could create events and share the costs. See my earlier post abiut the Isaac Bonewits tour we organized

I will obviously also discuss things with Selena.

It is good for various PFI's to think about events which could be organised. And how we can cooperate and share expenses.
